Outpatient Clinic Opens


Outatient Therapy Services of Henry County Health Rehabilitation held its Grand Opening on January 25th.
Many from the community came to show their support. Among those participating in the ceremony, were
board members from the Henry County Health Care Authority, chamber members, city officials,
Mayor Ryan Blalock and managment and staff of the Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Facility.

HCHR Celebrates National Nursing Home Week with a tribute to cinema throught the ages.
The week started off with the roaring 20's and ended with the 80's. It was a great time for
both the staff and residents. Also, in celebration of Nursing Home Week, HCHR hosted it's
3rd annual Health Fair with a special Zumba demonstration by Courtney of Courtney's Zumba Studio in Dothan.

Outpatient Clinic to Open Jan. 11th

Outpatient Therapy Services of Henry County Health & Rehabilitation
will open Monday, January 15th. Clinic hours will be from 8am-5pm, Mon.-Fri. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Mon. January 25th at 11am with an open house immediately following until 2pm. Everyone is invited to attend.



A Walk to Remember
This years "A Walk to Remember " was held on October 3rd. HCHR Raised $7,500.00 to Benefit the Wiregrass Alzheimer's Resource Center. The facility brought home first place in both the most money raised and most walkers participating. Care assistant, Ashley Thomas was a team captain and had the most walkers for the day.



 

Judson Baptist Association

HCHR Donates approximately 2,040 lbs of food to Judson Baptist Association

 

HCH&R recently held its annual canned food drive to benefit the Judson Baptist Association’s food bank. Management and staff contributed aproximately 2,040 lbs of food to JBA. “It’s our privilege to make this donation and to be able to give back to the community. It shows just how caring and compassionate the employees of Henry County Health and Rehabilitation are and their willingness to help others.” stated Lawton Ed Armstrong, CEO of the facility. Accepting this donation are George Thompson, Bob and Nell Price and James Strickland, representatives from the Judson Baptist Association.
